Julian Brunt has been part of the top teams at Leverkusen and Dortmund in recent years. Part of the German national team that won the Confederations Cup in 2017. At club level, Brandt hasn't had any significant success yet, with the only accolade remaining the German Cup, won in 2021 with the Dortmund team. Still 28 years old, the chance for such a trophy remains.
Although Chris Kirkland's career was not among the most significant, it is worth noting his medal from winning the Champions League with Liverpool in the famous turnaround match against Milan in 2005. A distinction that many more illustrious footballers fell short of. Kirkland is currently a goalkeeping coach at a lowly English club. Happy 43rd birthday!
